Maintenance: If you leave the printer on while not in use for weeks on end, heads will not block as printer has a self cleaning cycle. Note however that this cleaning feature will slowly fill up your waster tank and you can expect to replace it twice a year.

Or you can leave printer off completely and remember to print at least once a week to avoid blockages.
